Large aquamarine crystal with etch figures at both ends. The hydrofluoric acid causing these figures also etched an included, large tourmaline crystal out of the aquamarine. The result is a surface-reaching "negative crystal", a cavity in the shape of the tourmaline crystal which even shows the tourmalines typical striations!

Extremely rare anorthoclase moonstone from the Pili Mine, Saucillo, Chihuahua, Mexico. The mine lies in a military reservation and is inoperative since the 1980ies due to tight access restrictions. Minute chip at the tip is virtually invisible.
