Alexandrite is extremely difficult to capture on photo or film.
We explicitly point out:
- Our Indian Alexandrite is characterized by high clarity and very attractive daylight colour
- The camera intensifies red colour. Colour change is not quite as pronounced as in photos or videos.
However, in strong incandescent light and without any scattered daylight or room light, colour change is distinct
Not valid for Alexandrites over from Russia or Tanzania

To the unaided eye the cloudiness is not nearly as distinct as on the enlarged Photos. In fact it hardly distracts from the overall beauty of this gem. Good colour change!
